Master R. is a shibari Artist born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Bound Affairs was inspired by his desire for shibari to be experienced as the art it is instead of hidden away in dark dungeons, where it can often be found.

Shibari originated in Japan and is an intricate form of rope bondage that transcends mere restraint to become a captivating art form. It involves skillful tying and weaving of ropes around the body, creating visually stunning patterns and emphasizing the beauty of both the human form and the rope.
